Imagen to Lay Off 70

Mobile-based Imagen Brands will reduce its workforce by 70 on April 1, it announced. The notice follows thecompany’s acquisition by Clearwater, Florida-based Koozie Group, which calls itself “a top-40 hard goods supplier that makes rainwear, drinkware, coolers and other products through brands like Coleman and Rubbermaid.” The December 2020 acquisition had been planned to not disrupt day-to-day activities in Mobile or impact Imagen’s product assortment.
