IMS To Support Nordson Measurement & Control

IMS Systems, Inc., a Mars, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of noncontact measuring systems that has a service center in Mobile, has reached an agreement with Nordson Measurement & Control Solutions, formerly NDC Technologies, to offer technical support, services and parts for the company’s IRM Group equipment that focuses on coating weight, thickness and flatness measurements in metals applications. The transition, which takes effect November 1, 2024, is intended to allow Nordson to focus on other aspects of its business, while strengthening IMS’s ability to meet the measuring requirements of metal manufacturers and processors throughout North America. IMS will provide support including optical and radiometric gauge systems for metal dimensions and coating thickness, surface inspection systems, force measurement systems and strip guiding systems.
