MYER To Expand In Grand Bay

MYER Industries LLC, which has a location at 744 Blackburn Drive in Mobile, plans to invest $2.3 million to establish a new manufacturing headquarters and production facility in Grand Bay, creating 24 jobs over the next four years. A wholly owned subsidiary of MYER Cos., MYER Industries has acquired an existing industrial facility at 12780 Saeger Road and will renovate and upgrade the property to consolidate its American Society of Mechanical Engineers-certified fabrication operations into a dedicated production facility. MYER Industries specializes in the fabrication of custom pressure vessels, heat exchangers, process equipment and other heavy industrial products. The company serves customers in the industrial, chemical, marine and process industries throughout the Gulf Coast region and beyond. Construction is expected to begin in July, with the facility scheduled to become operational in August.
