Humminbird Ideas Named Small Business Of The Year Finalist

The Mobile Chamber has recognized Hummingbird Ideas as a finalist for the 2025 Small Business of the Year award. Founded more than 20 years ago, Hummingbird provides marketing and advertising services including digital marketing, brand identity, website design and development, print, photography, signage, video production, environmental and promotional design, and media planning. Over the past few years, the company has seen consistent year-over-year growth. An active and engaged chamber member, Hummingbird supports several nonprofit organizations, offering pro bono services and reduced nonprofit rates to help mission-driven organizations extend their impact. In 2024 alone, Hummingbird partnered with the Downtown Mobile Alliance, Mobile Arts Council, Mobile Museum of Art, United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile and the Mobile Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. One standout community effort includes their work with SSIU Insurance on the Great Turkey Drive, which provided Christmas meals for nearly 600 families. Hummingbird not only donated turkeys, but also designed, launched and funded a social media campaign to raise awareness and encourage donations.
