Local Author Wins Page Turner Awards

Bayou Cresting: The Wanting Women of Huet Pointe by local author Jodie Cain Smith recently won the following Page Turner Awards: “Book Adaptation to Film” and “Best Anthology.” Smith is also the author of a second Southern Gothic novel, The Woods at Barlow Bend, and the 100 Things To Do in Mobile Before You Die guide to the Port City, printed by Reedy Press.
