Local Veteran Podcast Wins Three Awards

A man who started a podcast for other military veterans is being honored with several national awards, NBC 15 reported. Michael Hinkle of Foley served 31 years in the U.S. Navy and was deployed all over the world. Five years ago, he started Jupiter, Florida’s SkillMil that helps veterans find employment. Less than a year ago, he started a podcast with Serena Moyer, Diapers and Deployments, which has won three national awards presented by Broken Jarhead. The podcast is being recognized as the Veteran Business Podcast of the Year, Navy Podcast of the Year and Veteran Podcast of the Year.
