Mobile Carnival Museum Named To “Strangest” List

The Mobile Carnival Museum, which is home to old mystic costumes, trains from queens, photos of the earliest Mardi Gras celebrations and more, was recently named to LoveExploring.com’s “Obscure America: the strangest museums in the USA” list, WRKG reports. According to the museum’s website, it opened in 2005 and has 14 gallery rooms, a pictorial hallway, a theater, a den and a gift shop. Other museums on the list include the Museum of Death in New Orleans, the Spam Museum in Minnesota and the Winchester Mystery House in California.
