Mobile Named To Top Travel List

Condé Nast Traveler has named Mobile one of the “Best Places to Go in North America & the Caribbean in 2024,” the City of Mobile announced. Mobile was named one of only 12 others showcased in the article. The article recognizes Mobile as having an “all-year celebration of the city’s African American history.” A few of the significant cultural moments mentioned include the opening of “Clotilda: The Exhibition,” Isom Clemon Civil Rights Memorial Park and the Alabama Contemporary Art Center’s exhibition “Remembering the Avenue.” It also mentions the reopening of the updated Admiral hotel early next year and the return of Amtrak.
