Murrill Named Local Business Person Of The Year

Michelle Murrill, owner of Southern View Media, Pelican Promos, Daphne CoWork and Murrill Properties and an entrepreneur and community advocate in Daphne, has been named 2024 Local Business Person of the Year by Alignable. Murrill has served as the marketing director for Bras for a Cause and as Queen Daphne XXIV of the Apollo’s Mystic Ladies Mardi Gras organization. She founded Small Business Disaster Recovery Specialists in response to the impacts of Hurricane Ida. In addition to her business and philanthropic endeavors, Murrill has inspired local and regional business networks. Her leadership roles also include serving as president of the Women’s Business Alliance and producing the Eastern Shore Business Expo.
