Southern View Media Announces Creativity Scholarship

DAPHNE, Ala. — Southern View Media recently announced the Southern View Media Scholarship Program, to be awarded to a current high school senior at a Mobile County or Baldwin County high school. A $1,000 scholarship is to be awarded to the “participant with the most original, creative, expressive and artistic portrayal of the Gulf Coast.” This can include Mobile County or Baldwin County areas, the Eastern Shore, Mobile Bay and downtown areas. The program was created in memory of Edna Fern Brill, who appreciated and adored art and writing, and especially appreciated the local wildlife in her paintings.
