Today’s Homeowner Announces Local Community Project

Today’s Homeowner with Danny Lipford, a nationally syndicated TV show produced in Mobile, recently announced a special community service episode featuring USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park. This initiative aligns with Today’s Homeowner’s ongoing efforts to promote the advantages of visiting Mobile and is an additional bonus to the comprehensive media gift Danny Lipford presented to the City of Mobile last spring. In previous seasons, the show coordinated several community service projects across the U.S. This season’s project will involve improvements and upgrades aboard the USS ALABAMA and Battleship Memorial Park. A few of the projects that will be featured in the special episode are cleaning and beautifying the campus, refreshing and repairing memorials, upgrading the landscape on the grounds and repainting the bow of the battleship. The project will be filmed for a special episode of Today’s Homeowner and will air across 91% of the U.S., reaching 2-plus-million viewers. The taping week will take place June 5-8, and the episode will air the week of July 10. Today’s Homeowner will soon be seeking volunteers and inviting businesses to get involved with sponsorships and donations.
