The Lower Alabama Young Professionals, a partnership between the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber and South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce for leaders in the community aged 21-40, is hosting two events over the next two months, GulfCoastNewsToday.com reported. First is the WAHOO! Lower Alabama Young Professionals Baseball Social, taking place on August 18. Attendees can catch a party bus at The Wharf at Orange Beach at 5 p.m. and ride to Pensacola for the game between the Pensacola Wahoos and Biloxi Shuckers beginning at 6:35 p.m. Tickets, $65, include a round-trip bus ride, a ticket to the game on the Coors Light Deck, a Wahoos hat, a buffet and nonalcoholic drinks. Next is the Lower Alabama Young Professionals Barks, Bags, & Brews II Cornhole Social, presented by Columbia Southern University, taking place on September 26 at 2-5 p.m. at The Wharf. Teams of two may register now. Twenty-four teams will compete for prizes, including two Yeti coolers. The event is open to all ages and is a fundraiser for local animal shelters.
