Fairhope Considering Plans For Nature Park

Property on a 40-acre city site near the intersection of Twin Beech Road and Baldwin County 13 could become a new nature park under a plan being studied by Fairhope officials, GulfCoastNewsToday.com recently reported. The city plans to apply for a federal grant to develop a park on the site. If funding is available, it could include a lake. A total cost is not yet available, but engineering could cost less than $50,000, and the lake would coast approximately $100,000. Other proposed projects on the site would not be as expensive. These could include a disc golf trail for about $7,000.
