Alabama Policy Institute Meeting in Mobile

The Birmingham-based nonprofit Alabama Policy Institute‘s Annual Mobile Event is being held on April 13 at 6 p.m. at the USS Alabama Hangar. Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Jerry Boykin is the guest speaker. Boykin was the U.S. deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence under President George W. Bush in 2002-2007. During his 36-year military career, he spent 13 years in Delta Force and was involved in many high-profile missions. He is an author and teaches at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia and serves as executive vice president of the Family Research Council.
