Ambitiously Him & Her King Foundation Updates

Mobile-based nonprofit the Ambitiously Him & Her King Foundation, which is dedicated to helping young parents between the ages of 13 and 23 throughout Mobile County, recently opened a chapter in Mount Vernon, Call News reported. Founder Latonya Patterson said her goal is to expand into Leroy in Washington County and to other areas in Mobile County. On December 22, the foundation will partner with mobile wireless provider Gen Mobile for a Christmas giveaway at the Cleveland Flott Community Center in Mount Vernon. Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be present to give away toys, gifts, treats and resources to the community. Gen Mobile will offer free phones and affordable tablets through the Federal Communications Commission’s Affordable Connectivity Program. The foundation has helped more than 2,500 people in Mobile, specifically during the baby formula shortage. It has online and in-person services and resources for young parents and provides resources for parents to access diapers and formula.
