Autism and Rehab Center Holding Playground Fundraiser

The American Autism and Rehabilitation Center in Daphne is hosting its “Warrior Challenge” fundraiser throughout March. The virtual challenge involves walking or running 31, 65 or 100 mi. anywhere and anytime throughout the month. Distance can be tracked with a smartwatch or app. Registered participants will join a private Facebook group for daily encouragement. A T-shirt is included in the entry fee, which is $30 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. All proceeds will go toward the rebuilding of the center’s outdoor playground, which was destroyed during Hurricane Sally.
