BBQ & Blues Coming To Foley On March 7-8

The BBQ & Blues Cook-Off is taking place on March 7-8 at Downtown Foley’s Heritage Park. A fundraiser for the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation, the event is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society. Tickets for the March 7 kickoff event, beginning at 6 p.m., will include live entertainment from Taylor Hicks. On March 8, the event featuring 35 competing teams, plus vendors, runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Heritage Park. Barbecue samples will be served starting at 11 a.m. Tickets for the first day are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate. Tickets for the second day are $10 and sold only at the gate.
