Chocolate Affair Fundraiser Coming To Daphne

Summerdale-based Family Promise of Baldwin County has announced its 16th Annual Chocolate Affair for December 7 at 6-9 p.m. at the Daphne Civic Center. The signature fundraising event for the nonprofit will feature food from local chefs, a silent auction, a live auction, restaurant chefs’ specialties and many chocolate desserts. Live music will be by Bo Grant, formerly of The Platters. All proceeds will benefit Family Promise’s mission to provide temporary shelter, transitional housing, related services and nurturing support to families with children experiencing homelessness and to assist them with obtaining suitable and permanent housing. Tickets are $50 per person. For more information or to sponsor the event, contact Family Promise at phone: 251-947-5641.
