Community Foundation Of South Alabama Celebrates 50 Years

The Community Foundation of South Alabama is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The nonprofit has worked alongside donors, partners and community leaders to award scholarships, support nonprofits, and strengthen and improve the quality of life in the eight counties (including Baldwin and Mobile counties) it serves. “This milestone is an opportunity to reflect on the legacy we’ve built together and to look ahead with renewed purpose,” said Rebecca Byrne, president and CEO. The foundation will commemorate this milestone throughout the year with a series of special initiatives, stories and events that celebrate its history while highlighting its vision for the future.
