Connect Mobile Class Applications Open

Nonprofit Mobile United has opened applications for the Connect Mobile Class through March 29. The leadership development program, which runs May 9 through November 21, provides up-and-coming leaders the opportunity to develop new skills and acquire the resources necessary to engage with their community. It is designed to inform, engage and increase awareness of issues through interaction with community leaders. It also provides class members an opportunity for applied leadership through the project phase. Members are selected based on high standards of personal integrity, a sincere and strong desire to increase community involvement, a commitment necessary of the time and effort to complete the program and whether they help represent a cross-section of the population. Tuition is $800, which is expected to be paid in full by April 30.
