Donations Sought For Needy Elderly

Lifelines Counseling Services of Mobile is hosting Christmas in June to help bring local awareness to elder abuse by asking the community to donate items to be given to local underserved elders. Items may be dropped off at Lifelines Counseling Services at 705 Oak Circle Drive between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The nonprofit is asking for adult pull-ups, diapers and incontinence pads; barrier cream; wipes; body wash or bar soap; shampoo; conditioner; shaving kits; lotion; deodorant; toothbrushes and toothpaste; denture cleanser and adhesive; perfume/cologne; dishwashing liquid; laundry detergent; trashbags; paper towels; toilet paper; and dish sponges/towels.
