Dream Center Gets Donation, Announces Event

The Dream Center of Baldwin County recently received an award from the Tri-City Community Foundation, an affiliate of The Community Foundation of South Alabama. The funds, more than $25,000, will provide for one student from Foley, Gulf Shores or Orange Beach to attend the Dream Center of Baldwin County program and covers all costs associated with their completion of the program. It aims to help underprivileged youth ages 12-18 to rebuild and transform their lives with the help of caring mentors and educators. Additionally, the center’s annual charity dinner, “Dream Big!” will be held on September 25 at 6 p.m. at the Foley Civic Center with guest speaker Sherman Williams, a former University of Alabama and Dallas Cowboys running back and three-time football champion.
