Fairhope Sunset Rotary Club Race For Charity Coming Up

The Fairhope Sunset Rotary Club is hosting the fifth annual Race for The Rest of Us – 0.5K Classic on January 11. Starting and ending at Fairhope’s Bay Breeze Cafe, the 0.5-km (1/3-mi.) course winds through Downtown Fairhope. Day-of event registration and race number pickup begin at 1 p.m., with the race starting at 3 p.m. and the post-race celebration at 3:10 p.m. This afterparty, with drink specials and DJ Chico Drums, will last until 5 p.m. Awards will be presented for best costumes for individuals, groups and best rotary individual/group, as well as fastest and slowest race finishers. Proceeds from the local satirical run event will go to charity.
