Family Promise Benefit Coming Up

Mobile-based Family Promise of Coastal Alabama is holding a jazz brunch and wine tasting on April 29 at 11 a.m. at The Hummingbird Way Oyster Bar in Mobile. There will be music by The Jazz Studio, a group of young musicians who are part of Mobile’s Big Band Society and directed by Hosea London of the Excelsior Band. The nonprofit says this an important event for it, as it is its first big effort since the pandemic and a celebration of its 20th anniversary on the Gulf Coast. All proceeds will go toward the organization’s mission to combat local homelessness. For more information, contact Diane McCaskey at phone: 251-441-1991 or email.
