Feeding The Gulf Coast Distributes, Gets Donation

MOBILE, Ala. — On February 4, Feeding the Gulf Coast of Mobile hosted a food distribution event that served more than 150 families in conjunction with the Reese’s Senior Bowl Community Day at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile. Senior Bowl players were paired with little brothers and little sisters with Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Alabama to help distribute shelf-stable items, meat and produce. Additionally, Reese presented a $10,000 donation to Feeding the Gulf Coast to support its hunger relief efforts. “This generous donation will provide 50,000 meals for individuals and families facing hunger in our local community,” Cyndy Baggett, Feeding the Gulf Coast vice president of development and marketing, said.
