Festival Of Flowers Announced

The annual Festival of Flowers fundraiser for the Ascension Providence Foundation will showcase life-size living sculptures created by the Mobile area’s teams of florists, nurseries, landscapers, designers and artists on March 11, 2022, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and March 12-13, 2022, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at Cathedral Square at 300 Conti Street in Mobile. The festival’s People’s Choice Award will be awarded in the theme “By Land, Air, or Sea, Baby It’s Time to Come Home.” Attendees may see the elaborate plant creations from a socially distanced space and vote on them with a QR code or link. In addition to outdoor seminars and vendors, there will be new events including a Festival of Cars on March 12 at 9-11 a.m. and garden tours of downtown gardens. There will also be “Art in the Garden” featuring original local works, seminars and demonstrations for the home and garden.
