Fuse Project Awards Grant To Flourish Community

MOBILE, Ala. — Mobile’s Fuse Project recently announced it awarded a grant of $8,500 to Flourish Community, a nonprofit serving teen girls from under-resourced communities in Mobile and Baldwin counties. Flourish will apply the grant to the fall budget for its community center in Daphne, where it currently serves eight girls from Greater Mobile, in addition to 14 girls from Baldwin County. Flourish will be able to extend its outreach with this grant and launch a Mobile program at Fuse Factory, where it will offer its Empower Program. The program focuses on empowering teen girls ages 13-18 through health and personal development workshops.
