Habitat For Humanity’s Fundraiser Is This Month

Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Alabama is taking part in Home Is the Key, the organization’s national awareness and fundraising campaign, to focus on equitable access to affordable housing in the Mobile area. Throughout April, Habitat ReStore is holding a special spring cleaning donation drive and Home Is the Key drawing to encourage people to shop and donate to the store. Sales at Habitat ReStore are the largest single fundraiser for the nonprofit. Anyone who brings in donated items such as furniture, appliances in working condition or recycled building materials can register to win a $100 Publix gift card. Shoppers also have a chance to register for the drawing with purchases. Habitat ReStore’s Mobile location, open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., is at 3712 Airport Boulevard.
