Housing First Postpones Event

Nonprofit Housing First, Inc. in Mobile has postponed its Project Homeless Connect (PHC) event until an undetermined date due to COVID-19. Held annually to provide needed services and support to the homeless, the collaboration with local service providers, organizations and community members provides free legal support, medical checks, state-issued identification and transportation for all who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in Mobile and Baldwin counties. Last year, 65 different service providers and 650 volunteers participated to provide services to more than 740. Housing First hopes PHC may be rescheduled for late spring 2021.
