MLK, Jr. Day Of Service Tomorrow

The Natural Resources Committee of nonprofit Mobile United is holding the ninth annual Martin Luther King (MLK), Jr. Day of Service tomorrow at 9-11 a.m. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. The cleanup perennially sees more than 300 volunteers from across Mobile and Baldwin counties help clean Three Mile Creek. Each of the City of Mobile’s seven districts will have its own cleanup site. In addition to council members and Mobile United, sponsors will include the Alabama Coastal Foundation, Keep Mobile Beautiful, Mobile Baykeeper, Peninsula of Mobile, Dog River Clearwater Revival and Osprey Initiative.
