Mobile Opens Nonprofit Requests For Proposals

Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson has announced that the city has begun accepting requests for proposals from nonprofits for using $2 million of the American Rescue Plan funding Mobile has earmarked for local social services. As part of the People First Plan framework the Mobile City Council adopted last month, $2 million will be allocated to local organizations following an application process open through November 5.
