Mobtown Mac Down To Benefit The Cookery Project

MOBILE, Ala. — The board and staff of nonprofit The Cookery Project have announced the 2022 Mobtown Mac Down coming to the University of South Alabama Mitchell Center North Lawn on October 29 at 11 a.m.-5 p.m. The macaroni and cheese cookoff will highlight connoisseurs ages 10 and up. Teams cook for the chance to win bragging rights and prizes, and ticket holders may sample the contesting dishes and have the opportunity to vote for people’s choice winners. There will also be food vendors, music, streaming football and games. Proceeds benefit The Cookery Project, which works to instill healthy eating habits in economically disadvantaged children and adolescents, as well as youth with disabilities in South Alabama.
