MudBottom Revival Music Festival Announced
The 11th Annual MudBottom Revival Music Festival, a fundraiser hosted by the Dog River Clearwater Revival, is taking place on April 19 at 2-6 p.m. at the end of Riviere Du Chien Road, aka Bender Point (3619 Riviere Du Chien Road). Gates open at 1:30 p.m. The organizers say the afternoon of live music and community spirit are to raise awareness and funds to improve public access and water quality for Dog River and its tributaries. This year’s musical lineup features Willie Watson, an internationally renowned folk and Americana artist known for roots-driven songwriting and live storytelling; The New Cahoots, an acoustic/electric trio out of Pensacola blending folk, bluegrass and Americana with high-energy originals and covers; and Camm Lewis, a soulful local performer bringing a warm vocal style and an easy mix of laid-back groove and singalong moments. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends and family, coolers, picnic blankets and chairs. Bathrooms and food vendors will be onsite, and MudBottom Revival swag is available for purchase. Tickets are on sale now and historically sell out quickly. They are $35 now for general admission and $45 the week of the show. Children 12 and under may enter for free. Sponsorship opportunities, ranging from $250 to $2,500, are also available.
