Neighborhood Bridges Expands In Baldwin County

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — Neighborhood Bridges, a nonprofit that facilitates direct local giving to students in need, has expanded to central Baldwin County schools, Gulf Coast Media reported. The program has served schools in Fairhope since 2019 and expanded during the 2021-2022 school year to include schools in Daphne and Spanish Fort. Now entering the Robertsdale feeder pattern, the volunteer-driven organization attempts to be the bridge between advocates within schools and students in need. These needs can include new pairs of shoes, clothes, school fees, snacks, school supplies or an immediate grocery or utility need for a student and their family. The name of the student in need is never made public.
