Panda Cares Center Of Hope Opens

Panda Cares, the philanthropic foundation of restaurant Panda Express, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama have opened the Panda Cares Center of Hope at the Kiwanis Branch of the Boys & Girls Clubs in Mobile. The center, funded with a $45,000 grant from Panda Cares, includes a newly renovated space with computers, academic learning tools, art supplies, reading nooks and other areas for them to learn, engage and grow. Panda Cares representatives gave the club an additional $10,000 donation for continued efforts to promote learning and engagement, and Alabama Rep. Sam Jones donated $2,500.
