Port City Pacers Runs Coming Up

The nonprofit Port City Pacers is hosting the Chickasabogue 2-Miler and Hurricane Run 5K on August 10 and August 28, respectively. The first event, Chickasabogue Park in Eight Mile, will start at 6:30 p.m. and include a Grand Prix and Corporate Cup awards celebration starting at 7:30 p.m. The second event, at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, will start at 8 a.m. and benefit Dauphin Island Fire and Rescue. It will feature several awards being presented at approximately 9:30 a.m.: Top Male and Female Overall, Top Masters Male and Female (40+), Top Grandmasters Male and Female (50+), Top Senior Grandmasters Male and Female (60+), Top Walker Male and Female, Top Three Male and Female across a range of age groups, and Fun Run Awards for boys and girls aged six through 12.
