Prodisee Pantry Turkey Trot Next Month

The 14th Annual Prodisee Pantry Turkey Trot is taking place on October 28 in Old Towne Daphne. It will include a certified 5K race and 1-mile fun run/walk. The year’s family-friendly festival will also feature seasonal games, live music and treats for children. The 5K race starts at 8 a.m. on Main Street at City Hall and follows a fast course through Old Towne Daphne. The fun run/walk begins at 9 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for largest team, most funds raised, team spirit, most cans collected, cutest booth and more. Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit emergency food pantry to provide turkey and special holiday foods, in addition to its weekly emergency food allocation, to food-insecure families. Registration is open. Entry fees are $25 for the 5K race and $10 for the fun run by noon on October 27, when fees increase by $5.
