Registration Open For MLK, Jr. Day Of Service

The Natural Resources Task Force of nonprofitMobile United and the Mobile City Council are holding the 10th annual Martin Luther King (MLK), Jr. Day of Service on January 13 at 9-11 a.m. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. The cleanup has been expanded by having one site in each of the seven city council districts. The public is encouraged to pre-register and participate in the cleanup in the district closest to them. In addition to council members and Mobile United, sponsors will include the Alabama Coastal Foundation, Keep Mobile Beautiful/Love Your Community, Mobile Baykeeper, Peninsula of Mobile, the Osprey Initiative and Goodwill Gulf Coast.
