Rodeo Queen Contest Announced

The Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation has announced that applications are open for its Rodeo Queen Contest. The competition is a two-part process consisting of an interview on July 14 and horsemanship on July 16. Contestants will be judged by three judges on interview, appearance and horsemanship with their own horse. They will be divided into three age categories: “Princess” for ages 5 to 12, “Jr. Queen” for ages 13 to 18 and “Queen” for ages 19 and older. There will be a winner and two runners-up in each category. The entry fee is $60, which includes four tickets to the rodeo. Applications and entry fees must be submitted online by July 7 at 5 p.m. The 28th Annual Professional Rodeo, the foundation’s biggest fundraiser of the year, will be held on August 6-8 at the Robertsdale Arena.
