Salt Fundraiser Nets Nearly $82,000

The South Alabama Land Trust (SALT) recently announced that its 11th Annual Bald Eagle Bash at the Tonsmeire Weeks Bay Resource Center in Fairhope was “perfect.” The May 22 event hosted more than 900 people and netted almost $82,000 for land and water protection, far exceeding records of previous years. Featuring 15 restaurants, two breweries, wine and music, tickets were sold out early and quickly. SALT posted a recap video here.
