Shuck Cancer Coming To Fairhope

The inaugural local American Cancer Society (ACS) Shuck Cancer event is taking place on April 3 at Oak Hollow Farm in Fairhope. This fundraiser has a history in other Gulf Coast communities like New Orleans and Gulfport. This year, ACS has added Mobile and Baldwin counties to the yearly schedule. The event will feature oysters, wine pairings, local beer, non-oyster cuisine and live entertainment. Tickets are on sale for $75, and those interested in sponsoring may contact Gantt Wilkinson at phone: 251-895-9859 or email or Mary Waldrop at phone: 251-402-0743 or email.
