The second iteration of Shuck Cancer, the American Cancer Society fundraiser, will be held on April 9 at 6-10 p.m. at Oak Hollow Farm in Fairhope. The event will feature oyster tasting, live music and bourbon tasting in support of the nonprofit’s Access to Care Programs across Alabama, including the Road to Recovery program, hotel grants and transportation assistance. The evening will highlight the fundraising and advocacy efforts of Shucker Honorees—local leaders committed to fundraising $5,000 or more toward the society’s mission. Tickets are $75.
