South Baldwin Chamber Foundation Fundraiser Tomorrow

The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce Foundation is holding its 2021 BBQ & Blues Cook-Off on March 13 at Heritage Park in Downtown Foley. Tickets are free for children under 10 and $10 for others. Fully cooked Boston Butts from Summerdale’s L.A. BBQ are being sold for onsite pickup for $30. All proceeds benefit the chamber’s foundation to support 13 local schools. More than 20 “backyard division” cooking teams from across the Gulf Coast are scheduled to compete in categories of “Chicken,” “Ribs,” “Boston Butts,” “Anything Butt” and “Sauce.” Food trucks will also be available, and groups including Magnolia Dance Co., Spearman Brewers, True Blue Band and The Defrosters will begin performing at 11 a.m.
