Tool Donation Drive Tomorrow In Mobile

Nonprofit Mobile United’s Connect Mobile leadership initiative has partnered with Rebuilding Together of South Alabama to launch the Tool Share program, which aims to support local homeowners in need. The first event will take place on November 16 at 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the State of Alabama Independent Living Warehouse at 3654 Halls Mill Road in Mobile. This communitywide initiative seeks to collect essential tools for home repairs, disaster recovery and community revitalization efforts across Mobile, Choctaw, Clarke and Washington counties. Rebuilding Together of South Alabama is a nonprofit dedicated to repairing homes and revitalizing communities. It will accept donations of new and gently used tools at the event. Types include basic hand tools like hammers and screwdrivers, as well as power tools and storage bins. Monetary contributions will also be accepted.
