UCP Announces Two Fundraisers

United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile (UCP) is launching two new fundraisers, the Pot of Gold $10,000 Raffle and Give It Up For UCP. Raffle tickets are $100 each, with 500 buyers having a chance to win $10,000. The grand prize will be drawn on March 18 at Callaghan’s Irish Social Club in Mobile during its annual St. Patrick’s Day Street Party, but ticket holders do not need to be present to win. Give It Up For UCP plays on the theme of New Year’s resolutions and has already begun. In it, a participant chooses their own indulgence or guilty pleasure to abstain from for six weeks. Each then sets up a personal fundraising page and uses their journey of abstention to ask for support and donations from friends and family. At the end of 6 weeks, the top fundraiser will win a retreat courtesy of Wind Creek Atmore. Both fundraisers will benefit UCP of Mobile’s programs for children and adults with disabilities throughout South Alabama.
