United Way Hires Manager

The United Way of Southwest Alabama, headquartered in Mobile, recently hired Mary Clare Hagood as its new manager of donor relations, Business Alabama reports. Hagood is responsible for community outreach and managing volunteers throughout Mobile County. She is a graduate of the University of South Alabama who previously worked for local nonprofits Feeding the Gulf Coast and Boys and Girls Club of South Alabama. She also has volunteered for McKemie Place, the American Red Cross South Alabama Chapter, Volunteers of America Southeast and several local community centers.
