Upcoming Chili Cook-Off Benefits American Cancer Society

 The 37th-annual American Cancer Society Chili Cook-Off is taking place in Downtown Mobile on Canal Street near 250 South Washington Ave. in Mobile on March 9 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. All funds will go toward transportation costs for the nonprofit’s Road to Recovery Program, which helps cancer patients get rides to doctors’ appointments and treatments. There will be chili tastings and live music. Tickets are $15, and sponsorships are available.
