UWSWA Annual Meeting Coming To Mobile

United Way of Southwest Alabama (UWSWA) will hold its 2026 Annual Meeting and Campaign Kickoff on August 27 at Crown Hall in Mobile. Doors open at 8:00 a.m., with breakfast and the program beginning at 8:30 a.m. Featuring nationally recognized speaker, author and executive Ronnie Stallworth, Sr., the annual breakfast will celebrate community impact, recognize outstanding leadership and launch United Way’s 2026 campaign. Stallworth was raised in extreme poverty and experienced homelessness as a teenager while finishing high school before a family recognized his potential and helped him secure his first job. While working full time, he spent 14 years earning his degree in chemical engineering before completing an MBA at the University of Chicago. He went on to serve in executive leadership roles with Fortune 100 companies before becoming an entrepreneur, author and nationally recognized speaker.
