UWSWA Taking Partner Nonprofit Applications

United Way of Southwest Alabama (UWSWA) is taking applications through April 17 for its 2026-2028 Partner Agency cycle and invites qualified nonprofit organizations to apply for partnership. Local 501(c)(3) organizations that deliver health and human services across Mobile, Choctaw, Clarke and Washington counties may submit applications if their programs align with UWSWA’s impact areas of “Youth Opportunity,” “Healthy Communities,” “Financial Security” and “Community Resiliency.” Both current partner agencies and nonprofit organizations interested in joining the United Way network may apply. Partner agencies work alongside UWSWA to strengthen the community by expanding access to essential services, improving outcomes for families and addressing the region’s most pressing needs. UWSWA will host virtual office hours for agencies that have questions about the process on April 3 at 9:30-11 a.m.
