Women’s Forum Set For Battle House

Tickets are on sale for the Community Foundation of South Alabama’s 2023 Women’s Forum, “Taking Command.” The event will be held on September 29 at 8-10:30 a.m. at The Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel & Spa in Mobile. Retired U.S. Navy aviator Cmdr. Kelly Harrison will give the keynote speech with a harrowing story about piloting a helicopter that suffered catastrophic failure. The forum will also feature local leaders Dr. Quin Bixler of Infirmary Health, Beth Branch of the Alabama Port Authority and Audra Harper of Harper Technologies participating in a panel discussion, with National Public Radio National Correspondent Debbie Elliott serving as moderator.
